On Saturday, August 14th, 2010 from 8am - 3pm, Station 24 Hamilton Emergency Services Volunteer Firefighters will be holding a Car Wash for "Tucker's Time". The car wash is in Waterdown, at Fire Station 24 on Parkside Drive, just west of Hamilton Street.
MitoCanada will host its first fundraising event... "Running On Empty" on Saturday, September 18th, 2010, between 11am - 3pm. There will be a 1.5km Walk/Run (pledge sheets are available: www.mitocanada.org), live band, BBQ, face painting, craft table - so, bring the family and friends and enjoy a spectacular event down at Bay Front Park's "Waterfront Trail"

Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week - Burlington Proclamation
Last year a tree was planted a plaque was hung in Central Park (Burlington, ON, Canada), please feel free to take some time to check it out and watch it grow, just like we hope the awareness and fundraising events grow in efforts of finding a treatment and eventually a cure.
