In creating this website, I've overlooked some very important people that deserve to be mentioned ~ for that I'm truly sorry.

Tucker's Team include those who see him on a regular basis and have assisted us with getting his diagnosis, although it's one we wish that we had not been given, but together they help make Tucker's time with us as best as it can be!

  • Dr. Ramsay MacNay, Pediatrician

  • Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky, Director in the Neuromuscular/Neurometablolic Disease Clinic, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation (a.k.a Tucker's specialist)

  • Dr. Nathalie Desbois, General Practitioner

  • Staff and Therapists (Betty - Physiotherapist, Lowana - Occupational Therapist, Cindy - Speech Pathologist) at Children's Developmental Rehabilitation Program (CDRP) that provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services for children with congenital or acquired neurological, developmental and/or multiple disabilities.

  • Dr. M. Nowacyzk, Geneticist

  • Dr. Bob Issenman, Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at McMaster Children’s Hospital.

  • Doctor's and Resident's on Wards 3B & 3C at McMaster Children's Hospital, who make necessary assessments and appointments while Tucker is an in-patient.

  • Nurses and staff on Wards 3B & 3C at McMaster Children's Hospital, who help make Tucker's in-patient stay as comfortable as possible and always have a smile.

  • Phyllis, our in home Dietician/Nutritionist

  • Jamie Posavad, Masters in Child Development, Tucker's Support Facilitator (who has definitely become more like family)

  • Nurse Sophie, Nurse Lindsay, Nurse Lolita, Nurse Jody - Tucker thinks the world of you guys.

  • Last but not least, our Nanny Esmie, who helps care for our children and keeps the house (and the girls) on schedule  while Tucker is at various appointments, or admitted to hospital (Nanny Esmie hasn't been with us since the end of June 2009 - but we keep in contact with her and there are occasional visits.)

To these above mentioned professionals, we say , "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the wonderful care you continue to provide to our son!"
